Data Science PRBar charts are one of the most popular ways to visualize your data. You’ll be hard pushed not to find a bar chart during corporate business meetings, science seminars, or even during news broadcasts.
The reason for that is that bar charts are among the clearest and most straightforward visual representations of information. As such, they are also easily interpreted by an audience, irrelevant of their technical qualifications or background. That’s why it is likely that you will also be using this particular form of visualization regularly. Therefore, mastering the bar chart will be one of the most fundamental skills you gain throughout this course.
We’ll create a bar chart using data about used cars. We have a data set containing two columns. The first represents the car brand, while the second – the number of car advertisements of that brand.
This dataset is rather simplistic, but extremely fitting for an introduction into charts. Rest assured, that even if you’re a beginner in the field, you’ll quickly get used to creating and styling charts.
